‘PERSONA,' is an exploration of the Jungian concept of the persona - the mask that we wear in public life. At its core, 'PERSONA' delves into the intricate layers of identity and self-perception that we navigate in our daily lives.

Set against the backdrop of the shopping mall, this project captures the quintessential space where personal and social identities converge. Malls, with their inherent nature of display, social interaction, and consumer culture, offer a rich tapestry for observing and understanding the personas we adopt.

They are stages where performative aspects of our identities are most visible, influenced by both social and capitalistic dynamics.

In 'PERSONA,' I use AI to create post-photographic portraits, drawing heavily on the collective appearance of people within the dataset. It reflects how public and collective perceptions shape and influence our personal presentation and identity.
